About Skittles

Skittles was transferred to us from a shelter in the Bahamas. She is a gentle soul who is nervous but so, so sweet. Skittles greets her people with a little tail wag and gentle nibble kisses, and she has such a sad little face that tugs at your heart. She needs someone with patience and a whole lot of love to show her the way and help her feel secure in her new life.

Skittles has wonderful manners. She walks nicely on the leash and is a quiet, easygoing companion. She has tested well with gentle mannered dogs, though she can get nervous at times around others, so it is important that she meets any potential dog sibling a few times before adoption to ensure they are a good match. Skittles just needs the right person willing to earn her trust, and in return she will offer a lifetime of quiet, devoted companionship.
