About Pebbles

Pebbles was found as a stray and never claimed at local animal services. During her time there she was a little nippy for handling, so she was transferred to us to help prepare her for adoption, and she has been doing so much better than we ever expected. Pebbles may be little, but she is bursting with energy and can easily keep up on long walks and adventures with her people.

Once she is inside, Pebbles turns into a total cuddle bug, happily curling up on your lap for all the pets she can get. Due to her history, we always take introductions slow and let her set the pace, and she has responded beautifully to that patient approach. Pebbles does get nervous at the vet and during grooming, and these are currently the only situations where she has required a muzzle for safe handling.

Pebbles is selective when it comes to other dogs and can be quite dominant at times, so she will need several supervised meetings with any potential dog sibling to make sure it is a good match before adoption. Pebbles is proof that a little patience goes a long way, and she is ready to show her new family just how sweet and spirited she can be.
