About Dior
Dior's story is one of resilience and hope. This sweet girl came to us when her previous family could no longer manage her medical needs after she experienced 15 seizures in a single day. When she arrived, Dior was in critical condition—underweight and requiring intensive care to stabilize her health. Dior has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy and is well managed on daily medication given 3 times a day.
Despite everything she's been through, Dior has shown incredible strength and a gentle spirit. She's been nothing but a good girl throughout her recovery, and we're amazed by her progress each day as she regains her health and vitality.
Since Dior is still recovering and new to our care, we're discovering more about her personality daily. She has a naturally calm and gentle temperament that shines through despite her difficult past. This well-behaved girl walks beautifully on a leash and truly enjoys her daily walks. Dior is affectionate and loves to cuddle, finding great comfort in her people. She's discovered the joy of a cozy dog bed and spends much of her time peacefully napping there, clearly feeling safe and secure.
Once Dior receives medical clearance, we'll be conducting temperament tests with other dogs to better understand her social preferences. For now, she's focused on healing and showing us more of her wonderful personality each day.
