Coley came to us after her owner passed away, and she lost her canine companion Sofie shortly after. Despite these heartbreaking changes, this resilient girl has blossomed in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family.

At ten years old, Coley defies every expectation of what a senior dog should be. She's energetic, adventurous, and always up for a hike through the ravines or a neighbourhood stroll. Don't let her age fool you—this girl has the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger dog. She's excellent on leash, completely unbothered by traffic or city noise, and would make a wonderful companion for active walks and outdoor adventures.

But Coley isn't all go, go, go. She has a perfect off-switch and knows when it's time to settle down. She loves nothing more than cozying up under a weighted blanket with her humans, and yes, she thinks she's a lap dog despite her size. Tell her it's bedtime and she'll happily head upstairs without protest. She's the ideal balance of fun and calm.

Coley is a social butterfly who adores everyone she meets. She greets visitors with a wagging tail and never met a person she didn't like, whether they're adults, children, men, or women. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has even made friends with the neighborhood cats. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and is always eager to please.

Independence comes naturally to Coley. She has no separation anxiety and is perfectly content lounging on the couch while her foster family is out. She can be trusted to roam freely in the home and settles in for a peaceful nap until her people return. She's is fully housetrained.

Coley had some initial anxiety about car rides, but with the help of a cozy car seat, she now rides like a dream—either watching the world go by or catching a quick snooze. She's also a star at the groomers, where she's calm and well-behaved.

This sweet, adaptable girl is looking for a home where she'll be cherished as part of the family. She thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where she won't be left alone for long stretches. Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy or a snuggle partner, Coley is ready to be both.
