About this Position:
We are looking for a skilled photographer who has the passion to help animals and portray them in the best light. In this role, you will capture and edit original content, including photos and videos, for our social media channels and website. We have a high volume of intakes, therefore our photographer will need to work quickly and well under pressure to capture and prepare content. The successful candidate will need to be very skilled with Photoshop, as it is heavily used within this position.
Main Responsibilities:
Shoot a variety of compositions, social media campaigns, and events
Work with the media team to photograph and edit photos of dogs and other animals to be used on our website and social media
Videos for social media platforms as needed
Edit and retouch all photos taken using Adobe Photoshop and Suite as needed
Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of Adobe creative suite, including photoshop and Lightroom
Minimum 3 years of experience working as a photographer
Must have experience working with different lighting and other photography equipment as needed - Ability to work with strobe lighting is necessary
Must be comfortable working with and around animals as well as outside in various weather conditions
Excellent time management skills with a keen attention to detail
