Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario. Our picturesque location - complete with kilometers of walking trails, therapy pools, and a grooming spa - is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for amazing full time Cleaners with flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends. This is a fast paced position, successful candidates must be comfortable working on their feet all day. As part of our cleaning team, you will play an essential role in ensuring our animals are happy, comfortable and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Working alongside our other cleaners and under the supervision of the Cleaner Manager, the responsibilities and duties are as follows:
Efficiently and effectively clean dog kennel rooms multiple times daily;
Ensure all dogs have the appropriate bedding and toys in their rooms and water bowls are cleaned daily;
Laundry & providing fresh and clean blankets/dog beds for all dogs;
Sort, wash and organize all physical donations made (dog beds, blankets, toys, etc.);
Assist other departments as needed
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Professional cleaning experience is preferred
Good communication skills
Ability to work efficiently as a team and independently in a fast paced environment
Keen attention to detail
Ability to lift heavy objects

FULL TIME SALARY: $42,000/year
PART TIME WAGE: $20.50/hr
SCHEDULE:
All of our animals require care all year round including weekends and evenings (weekends are mandatory). Therefore, our team members work varied shifts of mornings and evenings from Monday-Sunday, including holidays.
Please note, this position is onsite. Additionally, reliable access to a car is necessary as there is no public transit near our facility.
